Adhesive traps used in greenhouses or outdoors are essential means for detecting insect pests and combating their development. The yellow traps combat the white fly, miner, aphids, and the Esciarida fly. The way to apply the traps is always at the top of the plants, raising the trap as the plant grows. The exception is for the Esciarida fly, in which case they are placed at ground level. The density of traps to be placed is 5 per 100m2 when used for pest detection and tracking. When used as a control medium, the density should be 1 per 2m2 and in indoor cultures it should be 1 per m2.
